My girlfriend and I recently got away from our families to move to a new city together and have found work here, but the interview process dragged out much longer than expected and we haven’t been given hours yet. This means that our first paychecks will appear AFTER rent is due for September; roommates had planned to help us out but one of them suffered an injury and will now have to balance that with medical bills.
We had planned ahead what I thought was pretty extensively, but a great deal of that was eaten up by higher-than-expected fees to register our car with the city as a pre-requisite to park it or even sell it (if only we didn’t need it for this job, lol). Currently we’re frantically selling possessions on ebay to tighten the difference here, but that will only take us so far.
We’ll need about $600 in the end to even things out, and should become stable by the following month if so. Thank you so very much for any and everything, any dollar keeps us further from having to go back to unwelcoming families with our tails between our legs

1. your suffering can’t end until you stop identifying with it. if your sense of self is tied up in your suffering, anyone or anything that attempts to separate you from it will become the enemy because, whether consciously or subconsciously, you will on some level believe they are trying to take away a part of who you are.
